A metal disc is placed with your loved one with its own unique number. That disc will remain with your loved one throughout the entire cremation process. This disc will remain intact during the entire cremation process. Once the cremation process is completed this unique numbered metal disc will remain with the ashes to insure proper identity and secure chain of custody. This disc will be packed inside of the temporary urn and returned to you with the cremated remains.
Prior to departure, staff members will identify the decedent once again meticulously review all paperwork to ensure accuracy.
Your loved one will then be transported to the crematory.
We will personally pick up the cremated remains from the crematory which will be in a temporary urn. We will once again, review the paperwork and compare the unique identification number on the metal disc.
We will assist and explain your options for your loved ones final resting place. If you choose to purchase an urn from us, we will transfer the ashes into the urn at no additional cost to you. We will make sure the paperwork and unique metal disc continue to travel with your loved ones cremated remains.
We encourage you to consider a memorial service to mourn your loved ones death and celebrate their life. This can take place in your own home, your local place of worship, restaurant, or in one of our memorial locations.
